I couldn't get out of meeting Hobert's pastor. After the meeting, I tried to get Eld. Hollings to drive MariBeth and I to the hotel, but he said that Hobert was going to drive us back to the hotel. Some lady had cornered MariBeth and was talking to her. I was left without any chance of escaping. Hobert finally came and got me. He walked me to his pastor's office. I didn't even realize that his pastor had been in the meeting with us. Hobert introduced us and that was that. We spent over 40 minutes in the pastor's office. I am not even sure what was said while we were in there. I mostly listened as the two of them talked. Before we left the office, Eld. Jeffrey King asked, "Are you really going to quit after this convocation?" I didn't answer him. Labels: 2006 |
