The Northside Pentecostal Church was founded in 1992 by Eld. Brian Cooper.
Northside, as it is affectionately called, is in the heart of the city of Absanie, Maddocha. The church serves the community in a number of ways.
Northside has an homeless ministry that feeds about 30 families a year. The homeless ministry has clothe a number of families as well. Northside offers a career program that helps people prepare their resumes, learn computer skills, and learn how to search for jobs. The career program has placed over 150 people on jobs since its inception in 1992. Northside also offers other community outreach programs.
Sis. I. L. Cooper and Northside have been recognized by the city of Absanie and the state of Maddocha for its community outreach program. Eld. and Sis. Cooper believe that reaching the community is the best way to reach souls.
Northside joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 1993. Eld. and Sis. Cooper's vision was encouraged by Bishop J. Berry Adkins. For the efforts and work of the church, Eld. Cooper was made VP of Outreach Ministries for the Greater Buelahland Fellowship. Northside stands as an example for other churches and ministries in the fellowship.
