In Christ Service Ministries began in 1996 as the personal ministry of Evg. Tiffanie Lee. She had a few bad experiences with some churches that she preached at. She almost wanted to give up the ministry. Evg. Lee began fasting and praying for some answers to keep her from getting hurt by people and churches. Although she did not believe in preaching for money, she did believe in keeping your word. If a church agreed to do or pay something, the church should keep it's word. In late 1996, Evg. Lee met Tommie & Carol Newman. Bro. Newman was managing Rev. Daniel K. Watson. Bro. Newman had great wisdom. Evg. Lee asked him if the two of them could join forces. After they joined forces, the ministry flourished. Having a staff to take care of the many non-preaching aspects of the ministry helped Evg. Lee and took some of the stress off of her. Evg. Carol Jones became a member of the ministry in early 1997. Rev. Arthur H. James joined in 2003. The ministry has grown to include symposiums, retreats, conventions, and more. In Christ Service Ministries joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 2000. |
