The Celebration of Life in Christ House of Rest was founded in 2000 by: Eld. Marcellus Hudson. Eld. Marcellus Hudson felt the leading of the Lord to start a ministry in the city of Gineo, MC. After much prayer and fasting, the church was formed.

Through prayer, witnessing, fellowshipping, and outreach, the Celebration of Life in Christ House of Rest has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 2000 under the leadership of Eld. Marcellus Hudson.  He is helped in the ministry by his wife Jeannetta Hudson.  They work tirelessly with the help of the assistant pastor, Elder Dillon Hines, and the other leaders of the church.

The church joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 2000.  Under the leadership of Bishop Berry Adkins, through the Greater Buelahland Fellowship; the church has flourished significantly through its programs.

The Celebration of Life in Christ House of Rest is also a member of the Sons of the Ministry and Christ Connected Ministries.

The church has a number of ministries that help its members grow in Christ.  The church's leadership team and ministry staff members are well trained to minister to the members of Celebration of Life in Christ House of Rest.
