The Boscawen House of Worship was founded in 1987 by: Rev. Johnny Carlos.  Rev. Johnny Carlos felt the leading of the Lord to start a ministry in the city of Grable, MC.  After much prayer and fasting, the church was formed.

Through prayer, witnessing, fellowshipping, and outreach, the Boscawen House of Worship has grown by leaps and bounds since its inception in 1987 under the leadership of Rev. Johnny Carlos.  He is helped in the ministry by his wife Melia Carlos. They work tirelessly with the help of the assistant pastor, Reverend Johnson Nelson, and the other leaders of the church.

The church joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 1989.  Under the leadership of Bishop Berry Adkins, through the Greater Buelahland Fellowship; the church has flourished significantly through its programs.

The Boscawen House of Worship is also a member of the House of Worship Fellowship of Churches.

The church has a number of ministries that help its members grow in Christ.  The church's leadership team and ministry staff members are well trained to minister to the members of Boscawen House of Worship.
